STEPHEN HAWKING’S FAMILY DONATES HIS VENTILATOR TO A UK HOSPITAL
He lived part of his life, attached to this accessory. The world’s most famous astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who died two years ago, could not live without his respirator. His family decided to donate it to Cambridge Hospital in Great Britain, where Hawking lived, to help treat patients with covid-19.
According to his daughter Lucy, as quoted by Variety, “After our father died, we returned all the medical equipment that belonged to the (NHS) national health service, but he had bought some equipment. We are now donating it. to the NHS hoping they will help fight Covid-19.”
