Printing booklets may seem complex, but it’s really not as hard as you think. At Komori Press, we take pride in making the process of booklet printing as easy and transparent as possible, from beginning to end. Our experts will guide you through every step of the way to ensure that your booklets come out looking beautiful and on time – no matter what type of project you’re working on! Here’s how to get started on your own booklet printing project with us.
What is booklet printing?
Booklets are one of today’s most popular print projects, thanks to their versatility. Many people think that a booklet is simply a bound book (think ring binders or even those three-ring binders that college students use) but there’s more to it than that. A good rule of thumb for a true booklet is eight pages or less, meaning your content should be dense and focused on an idea or information.
When should you use it?
Whenever you have a large batch of printed materials, particularly brochures and pamphlets. It’s an economical option for short runs—you can print in single or double-sided black and white (or color, but that’s more expensive). The biggest advantage of booklets is their size. They are usually folded or saddle stitched (stapled on three sides) so they are small enough to put into envelopes and mail.
Why choose us for your booklet printing?
There are many reasons you may choose one printer over another. Here are a few of our top reasons for choosing Overnight Prints for your booklet printing service needs:
The easiest way to find out is by giving us a call or chatting with us online. We can’t wait to help you design and print your booklets!
How does it work?
When you print a book, you place blank sheets of paper on one side of a printing press, then slide them through under pressure. As each page passes over an inked roller, it picks up a printed image. After you’ve finished same day printing both sides of all your pages, you’re left with your finished booklet (or booklet).
What can you print on our booklets?
We print a lot of different things, but here are a few examples: birthday cards, wedding invitations, poems and haikus, business cards and flyers, postcards and brochures. You name it—we’ll print it. (Just please don’t ask us to print a booklet of blank pages—it won’t look very good!) If you want an idea of what we can do for you—check out our showcase page.
Do you provide a free quote?
A free quote is something your customers can trust you for. If they know that you give out free quotes, then they know that you’re dedicated to providing them with a good service and are more likely to hire you over another printing company. However, it’s important that your customers understand that your free quote doesn’t automatically guarantee them a free print job! Just because they get a free quote from you, doesn’t mean they can cancel their order at any time.

Don’t forget these extras!
Although staples and brads might seem like they’re not that important, they are. We’re talking about your professional look—don’t risk looking unprofessional with crooked stapes or missing staples. Use a paper trimmer: Sure, you could wing it with just scissors, but a paper trimmer is more accurate. It also gives you a cleaner edge to fold along, which makes your booklet look nicer and feel sturdier than an unevenly cut edge would.
