This is the time of year when we all start to come out of our winter hibernation and get ready to enjoy the outdoors. But before we can do that, we need to clean up our homes from all of the dust and dirt that built up over the winter. Wearing a sock on your hand is an easy way to dust your blinds without making a mess. Just put the sock over your hand and run it along the blinds. The sock will collect the dust and keep it from flying everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can also use this method to dust other hard-to-reach areas, like the tops of cabinets and ceiling fans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To clean your microwave, mix equal parts water and vinegar in a bowl. Place the bowl in the microwave, and heat on high for five minutes. Carefully remove the bowl (it will be hot!), and wipe down the inside of the microwave with a damp cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lemon is a great natural cleaner, and it can also help to remove tough stains. If you have a stain that you can’t seem to get out, try using lemon juice. Simply apply the lemon juice to the stain, and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, wash the item as usual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You may need to repeat this process a few times for tough stains, but eventually the stain will disappear!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
