Sublimation Printer Set
The first (and most important) piece of equipment is a Sublimation printer in pakistan. For most beginners, we recommend the Sawgrass SG500 and SG1000 sublimation printers. The SG500 and SG1000 are strong, versatile, and affordable printers that can customize mugs, coasters, plaques, T-shirts, mouse pads, and more.
Large print area of 8.5″x 14″, ideal for smaller products. The SG1000 can print 11″ x 17″ or 13″ x 19″ with the optional bypass tray. The SG1000 allows you to make pillows, signs, and doormats. Mug Press
A heat press is the second most significant purchase (or a mug press if your personalization focus is drink ware). A heat press is necessary for high quality, vivid, and consistent prints.
There are now so many different heat presses to choose from, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. But don’t panic! For newbies, the platen size is crucial (that is, the size of the surface where you place your products). Unable to personalise a large item?
As a novice, the Coastal 9″ x 12″ Craft heat press will allow you to produce the majority of what you wish to manufacture. For larger prints on the Sawgrass SG1000 or Epson F570, we recommend the Geo Knight DK20S.
Get a mug press or a mug oven if you want to focus on ceramic coffee cups or water bottles. Our 4-in-1 Multi-Purpose Mug Press can press a variety of mugs, bottles, and other drinkware in a variety of sizes. You may wish to upgrade to a mug oven, which is more expensive but allows you to press multiple cups at once.
Blanks for sublimation
You’ve got your printer, heat press, or mug press and are ready to personalise. Notably, only polyester or polyester coated items can be sublimated. Coastal’s hundreds of Sublimation printer in pakistan are all coated with polyester and ready to sublimate right out of the box!

Paper & Ink
Our Sawgrass and Epson printer kits include a full set of ink cartridges, but it’s always a good idea to keep an extra set on hand in case of emergencies (like running out in the middle of an order!). Both the SG500 and SG1000 employ Sublijet UHD ink. Extended capacity SG1000 cartridges hold more than twice the ink. For the Sawgrass SG500 and SG1000 printers, we recommend Image Right sublimation paper in various sizes. Epson F570 DS paper rolls are recommended.
Extras
You have the basics. You only need a few more items to start your sublimation business! Several factors will help production run smoothly:
Avoid burns by wearing transfer gloves when handling hot items.
Heat-resistant tape attaches your paper to your sublimation blanks, limiting movement that might cause ghosting and ruin your transfer.
A wonderful spray adhesive for garments and fabrics that also secures paper.
This prevents sublimation ink from leaking onto your heat press. They also help remove press lines from cloth products.
Technology
The final prerequisite is a computer (PC or Mac) and design software. Your computer only has to be powerful enough to run the design software you intend to use. Creative Studio by Saw grass is a design software program me.
