MANCHESTER FIRST AID TRAINING

First aid training more precisely cardiopulmonary resuscitation plays a vital role in situations where medical facilities are insufficient. It is mandatory to perform some exercises on the person of cardiac infarction before the arrival of a medical expert.

Apart from sudden deaths caused by an accident, coronary artery disease is the  reason for more deaths in the United kingdom. It accounts for more deaths per year with an individual suffering from a heart attack every 2 min.Around the world, many schemes to promote awareness, knowledge, and skills in dealing with emergencies have been introduced into primary and secondary schools, which target 5–16-year-old children.

As an extension of existing schemes such as those mentioned above, a new training program, the Opportunities for resuscitation and children safety (ORCS), has been set up to allow the training of school children to operate the AED. In this paper I will suggest how to develop an evidence-based educational pathway to enable the integration of first aid into the school curriculum by defining the goals to be achieved for knowledge, skills, and attitudes, for different age groups.

IMPORTANCE OF BASIC LIFE SAVING TRAINING

Onlookers can play a vital role in delivering help in case of a sudden injury or illness before professional help arrives, and Manchester First-Aid Training is a way to improve this initial response by parishioners.Surviving cardiac arrest depends on several different factors . Immediate action and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) performed by laypersons are fundamental to success.Immediate action and CPR performed by laypersons are fundamental to success as it can help keep the person alive until a medical team arrives.survival rates will only improve if the time without basic life support is kept to an absolute minimum. On average, it takes some 8–13 min for the medical experts  to arrive on the scene. The first 3–5 min are vital to avoiding irreversible organ damage in normal patients. Knowing how to react in an emergency can make all the difference between life and death.

To increase the number of cases where CPR is initiated by a layperson, it is obviously desirable to train a large proportion of the general public.Manchester Red Cross  has started life saving  training for children aged eight and older. Nobody is willing to pay for the additional stress involved, let alone spend valuable leisure time in a training programme. The public at large is not inclined to invest time and money in such courses. In Manchester, the opportunities open to adults wishing to acquire the requisite knowledge and  receive practical training are limited. Driving school courses,CPR training during military service and similar courses are often inadequate and of dubious quality.

CONCLUSION

Performing CPR is as simple as using a TV remote control, according to schoolchildren who took part in a Manchester First-Aid Training course. The simplicity of teaching and ease of learning were as impressive as their display of the knowledge acquired during the course, say researchers. To increase the number of people trained in CPR, we need to increase the proportion of CPR training available to the general public. In manchester, the opportunities open to adults wishing to acquire the requisite knowledge and receive practical training are limited. As a result there is reluctance to administer life supporting first aid  for fear of doing something wrong. Given this, another approach has to be found to increase the level of knowledge of LSFA..
