This short but simple tutorial will show you how to remove songs from your iPod, as this feature is unfortunately not included in all of your favorite music players.
To set up the iPod to update manually, follow these steps:
- First, be sure to change the settings that allow you to manually update your iPod.
- Connect the iPod to your computer.
- Launch iTunes.
- Highlight your iPod in the list of resources
In the bottom right corner of the iTunes window, you’ll see a small icon that looks like an iPod silhouette – click on it. Select “Manage songs and playlists manually” and click OK.
To manually delete songs from iPod:
- Keep iTunes open and the iPod connected to your computer.
- Go back to the list of resources and click on your iPod.
- Select all the songs playlists you want to delete.
- Press Delete and you’re done!
